22" Quiqeg Cymbalsmith "Golem Series" Ride 2208gr

This is a new 22" Quiqeg Cymbalsmith ride from the "Golem Series" made in Bologna, Italy. Got it from a direct trade with the cymbal smith himself and what an absolute delight these cymbals are! They are as great as they look! Dark, raw, semi complex and dirty. It has a weight of only 2208 grams.

They are low on tension, and also lower on volume because of it, which is great for all jazz drummers that are looking for complex series that are less loud. I used regular 5A’s for the demo, which is great, because normally we need thin sticks with small tips for cymbals this thin, which make our drums sound thin sometimes. Now we have the best of both worlds. Great and full body sounding dry dark cymbals, without loosing on sound on our drums! Because of the lower tension, they need a little more work in terms of rebound which is a little less as well (see video, main ride cymbal).

Since the cymbal is practically new, it's without any issues of course. The cymbal however isn't completely flat, but that's by design, since they're coming from the rough series. The photos will speek for themselves.
