18" Zildjian Avedis Small Stamp Sizzle Ride from the late 50s (1957-1959). These are from the era that also the Avedis Zildjian's were still hand hammered. The result on this 18" sizzle ride, with a great weight of 1470 grams, is a cymbal that actually has some of the qualities that can be compared to some of the K. Zildjian Old Stamps. It's smokey, with a semi vanilla wooden stick definition and a nice amount of complex tones that give this cymbal a lot of character! Because of the light weight, the crash is also just perfect with that extra bit of sustain due to the sizzles.
The cymbal has an early stage keyhole and some minor flea bites, which both is common for cymbals nearly 70 years of age.
