22” Paiste 1979 ‘Formula 602’ China

Very rare 22" Paiste 'Formula 602' China from 1979 with a weight of 2770 grams in immaculate condition! This cymbal is a very interesting. If you take into consideration that these 602 china's where Paiste's first top of the line china's they made, it's interesting to see that the shape of it is not what you'd expect. The edge normally would normally point up, but on these china's that part lies flat. The 'absence' of that less upwards directed curve in the cymbal gives it a totally different sound than you'd get from any other china. It has a shimmer in it which gives it its typical 602 sound, and in character half somewhere in the middle of a china and a ride. It has so much more ride capacity than any other china! Really interesting sound and character! (SEE VIDEO!)

Besides some little signs of usage, the cymbal is in near mint condition! Super clean edge, no keyhole or anything else of that sort. Definitely in collectors grade.
