14" Paiste Formula 602 "Pre-Serial" Sound Edge Hihat 770/935gr
14" Paiste 'Formula 602' Pre Serial Sound Edge Hihat with a 'Solid Stamp' (1967-1972). These pre serials are famous for their higher ripple count than all the later sound edge models. They are aso less high, making them a little more subtile than the later versions. With a weight of 770 grams top and 935 grams bottom, it's a light pair that has a lot of vanilla too it without loosing the high pitch and bright stick articulation. When played open, the hats are still very dynamic, making them great for jazz playing as well. The pair is in excellent condition making them an amazing addition to any (Paiste) setup (see video!).
Both cymbals are in excellent condition. Especially considering their age. No keyhole, cracks or flea bites on either of them!
